In addition, I can use my keyboard and mouse to navigate through menus and perform basic functions.You can navigate the Microsoft Word program by using the arrow keys on your keyboard. The program allows you to view the options that are available in the menu at the top of the screen. To make changes in the menus, use the delete key on your keyboard. You can even expand the options in the sidebar or expand the entire menu using the CTRL key on your keyboard.Another way to navigate the Word program is to use the F5 key on your keyboard. This key has several functions, such as home, which brings up the Home tab, where you can select a certain option a nd return to the Home tab. You and your employer have been paying into it so get it. However, it will not last forever. There is also a stipulation that says you dont have to accept a job making greater than 20% less than you made in your last job. (OK, technically this is how it is worded) You are required to look for and be prepared to accept employment that pays the prevailing wage for similar work even if this is less than you earned on your last job or less than the salary you would like to receive. After you claim 13 full weeks of benefits, you may be referred to and are required to accept employment you are capable of performing as long as it pays the prevailing wage and pays at least 80% of your base period high quarter wages. But, at some point you may have the opportunity to take a short term orcontract job. Dont snub the idea. Instead, ask what the advantages would be of accepting it. The opportunity to keep your skills fresh The chance to test drive a new employer Learn how to adapt to a new work environment/job (building your flexibility) Work with other people and network Rejuvenate your self-esteem by feeling wanted and productive All that happens to your UI benefits is pause them. Tims an advocate of hiring career experts and made three  very valid  points in his post.   (1) If you could fix the problems in your resume without a large expense, you would; (2) many career experts offer quality advice on their blogs and Twitter accounts, free for the taking; and (3) if you feel a connection with a career expert or two from their blog posts and tweets, reach out to him/her and see if it makes sense to invest  in a paid service.   Makes sense, right?   I completely agree and think its a great idea. Its one of the main reasons I do blog and tweet to help you out and share my expertise.
